This scan is available to men & women from the age of 16 years.
Knee pain and knee joint instability are common with people of all ages, whether it be age related or within athletes. The knee itself is a complex joint made up of bones, cartilage, ligaments, tendons and fluid-filled structures. These can all contribute towards pain or reduced mobility.
Having a private Knee Scan can help assess the knee and surrounding structures, also evaluating surrounding soft tissues that may. Not be visible on other forms of scan, such as x-ray. An MSK scan can help to identify the cause of symptoms and give insight into effective treatment plans for your GP.
At Ultrasound Care, we offer a Knee Scan for men and women, aged 16 and above. This ultrasound scan will be performed by one of our qualified sonographers at your local clinic.
